Accommodation at The Old Café Cottage

The Old Café Cottage is self contained and overlooks the fruit trees of the Haythornthwaite vineyard.

Located a short walk from the Martinborough village, many vineyards are within 15 minute walking distance.

Equipment and Amenities Available

The cottage is open plan, containing a queen sized bed and a single bed. Trundle beds are available to accommodate extra children or adults.

There are two toilets, a shower, a full kitchen, and a woodburner. Outside there is a large deck with a table and chairs.

All bed linen and towels, soap and toilet paper etc are provided as well as a clock radio and hairdryer. In the living area there is a TV, a video and DVD player, and a CD player / Tape deck. A selection of CD's, tapes, videos and DVD's are available for your use.

Additional small mattresses are available for young children.

Kitchen Facilities

Kitchen Facilities include a fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric jug, pots and pans, cutlery, crockery & glasses.

Milk, bread, butter, spreads, cereals and tea & coffee etc, are provided for a continental breakfast.

A 3-burner gas barbecue on the deck is also available for your use.

Full laundry facilities are available on the back porch.

Tariff

The tariff for The Old Café Cottage, for Spring/Summer 2010/2011, from 1st October 2010, is $160 per night for two adults, for the first two nights, and then $120 per night for further consecutive nights. For stays of longer than a week we will negotiate to about $120 per night. Children under 14 are free, but there is a surcharge of $30 per night for each additional adult.

Winter Special

From now, until the start of Daylight Saving (the end of September 2010), we offer a Winter Special:- "Pay for one night (at the old rate of $150), and stay for two". So for a weekend away, come up after work on a Friday night, and stay until a late checkout on Sunday, or any other two night combination you would like, for the tariff of just one night. ".

Haythornthwaite wines are also available for sale.
